ideas for adding a special touch to your Christmas gift wrapping

What can I say? This is definitely the lazy man's gift wrap but the end result is beautiful.

Supplies: Box - we started with a pretty copper-colored box, partially wrapped in a sleeve of dark green craft paper.
Ribbon - one piece of gauzy gold ribbon and one piece of complimentary sparkly ribbon
Snowflake - this was peeled off an old Christmas card
Red sparkly pom-pom. Now how hard is this?

I think it's the simple layering of complimentary colors and pattterns that gives this so much appeal and could inspire you to take a second look at materials that are already at hand.
